8-Bit The Legend of Zelda Button Up Hawaiian Shirt

Take a trip back to the NES era with the 8-Bit The Legend of Zelda Button Up Hawaiian Shirt. Pixel sprites of green dragons, red creatures and tiny heroes line up on a teal grid of tiles, repeating across the front, back and sleeves in a retro game style that looks like an old dungeon map.

About The Legend of Zelda

The Legend of Zelda began on the NES, when Link set out across Hyrule to rescue Princess Zelda and stop the villain Ganon. The first game’s dungeons, hidden items and tough enemies are still loved today, and the eight bit sprites bring back the feeling of wandering the overworld with a sword and a shield. Sprites like these remind many fans of the first time they found a secret door by burning a bush.

Shirt Highlights

• Pixel sprite pattern: bright enemies and heroes sit on a teal background of square tiles.
• Dungeon grid look: thin lines between the tiles echo old room layouts.
• Button up front: a turn down collar and short sleeves in a classic aloha shirt shape.
• Full coverage print: the artwork continues on the back and over the shoulders.

Where to Wear It

It is a natural choice for game nights, retro arcades, conventions and summer cookouts. Wear it open over a plain tee or buttoned up when you want a loud, nostalgic look.

It makes a great gift for the player who still remembers drawing maps on graph paper, who owns every console from the NES to the Switch or who just enjoys pixel art. A fun birthday or holiday surprise.
