A graphic tank top gets bought for two reasons - training and heat - and both change what makes a good one.

Built for movement and hot weather

Open armholes, no sleeve to bunch at the shoulder, and a cut that lets air move. Under a barbell or in July, that matters more than the print does.

What the print does is make the garment worth wearing outside those two situations, which is where the 485 designs here come in.

Care

Cold wash inside out, air dry. Training kit picks up more odour than ordinary clothing, so wash it after each session rather than letting it sit damp in a bag.

Choosing a tank top

1. Gym or everyday

Both work in the same garment here, but the design decides where it feels right. Bold single-character prints suit training; subtler pattern work carries better in ordinary settings.

2. Layering

A tank under an open shirt or a zip hoodie is one of the easiest warm-weather outfits there is, and it lets a loud print show without dominating.

3. Think about coverage

Armhole depth varies between designs. The product images show the actual cut, which is worth a look if coverage matters to you.
