Black Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono

Rise from the grave with the Black Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono. This gray and black kimono has crisp white outlines, a round Black Lantern symbol on the chest and a dark belt at the waist. Sharp white lines run down the front and the sleeves, giving it a stark, graphic look.

About the Black Lanterns

The Black Lantern Corps are the reanimated corpses from DC comics’ Blackest Night story, powered by death and led by Nekron. Their symbol and their monochrome palette are easy to pick out for Lantern fans. The storyline is a dark, eerie chapter that drew a lot of readers to the Lantern books. There is also a Lantern for every emotion, but this one stays on the darkest end of the spectrum.

Design Highlights

• Lantern symbol: a round emblem sits on the chest.
• White outlines: sharp lines on gray and black panels.
• Two tone body: the gray and black blocks make a bold silhouette.
• Dark belt: a black sash that keeps the look clean.

Where to Wear It

It is great for a Halloween night, a comic shop event or a moody autumn evening. Pair it with black jeans and a white tee, and add a prop ring for a Lantern joke that fans will get. It also works for a night at the movies or a creepy campfire story.

It is a stylish gift for the DC reader who likes dark stories. A birthday, Christmas or a Secret Santa swap among comic fans would suit it.
