Invader Zim Nickelodeon 2-in-1 Performance Shorts

Behold, the might of the Irken Empire: the Invader Zim Nickelodeon 2-in-1 Performance Shorts have a black outer short with a green alien face and glowing magenta eyes on the right leg. The liner underneath is crimson and dark red with ribbed stripes, like segments of an Irken armor suit.

About Invader Zim

Zim is an overconfident alien invader from the planet Irk who is sent to Earth to prepare for conquest. He disguises himself as a human child, lives in a suburban house with a robot called GIR and tries to take over the planet. His archenemy is Dib, a boy who knows the truth and keeps trying to expose him. The show, created by Jhonen Vasquez, became a cult favorite on Nickelodeon in the early 2000s.

What Stands Out

• Alien face: a green face with pink eyes is easy to spot on the black outer short.
• Red ribbed liner: segmented stripes give the base layer a sci fi armor style.
• High contrast palette: black, green and red feel loud and fun.
• Two layer comfort: a roomy outer short with a snug inner layer.

Where to Wear Them

Great for the gym, cartoon marathons and quirky weekend outings. A plain black tee lets the green face lead.

They make a perfect present for a fan who loves dark comedy cartoons, and a funny gift for a friend who sounds a little too dramatic when they announce plans for the weekend. Add a pair of green sneakers or a green cap and the Irken look is complete, and your gym friends will wonder what planet you are from. A wave and a small shout of doom is optional but encouraged.
