About Magikarp

Magikarp is the Water-type Pokemon famous for the move Splash, which does absolutely nothing. It is weak and often seen as a joke, but trainers who stay patient get the biggest reward when it evolves into Gyarados at level 20, with a huge roar and a stormy temper. That journey from the weakest Pokemon to a roaring sea serpent is why many fans say Magikarp is a lesson in never giving up.
