Maomao Apothecary Diaries Hooded Cloak Coat

Slip into a calm gray scene with the Maomao Apothecary Diaries Hooded Cloak Coat. A pale white and gray coat shows a black and white drawing of Maomao seated with her braid over her shoulder across the back, with vertical Japanese lettering running down both sides and along the sleeves.

About Maomao

Maomao is the sharp witted apothecary at the center of The Apothecary Diaries. She was sold to the rear palace as a servant, yet her curiosity about medicine and poisons draws the attention of Jinshi, the handsome palace administrator. She solves mysteries, tests poisons on herself and keeps a dry sense of humor. Fans love how she mixes science and wit in a palace full of secrets.

Coat Features

• Ink style art: a calm monochrome illustration looks like a page from a sketchbook.
• Vertical text: Japanese columns frame the portrait and give it a poster look.
• Soft colors: pale gray and white tones feel quiet and elegant.
• Comfortable lining: toggle fronts, a lined hood and long sleeves.

Where to Wear It

This is a nice piece for a book club, a library visit, a tea shop trip or a winter outing. The gentle colors work with a simple outfit, and the hood gives a soft frame to the face. It also fits cosplayers who prefer a gentle everyday style over a full palace costume. Add a simple green hair ribbon or a small herb pouch bag and the connection to the show is clear, and the soft look is easy to match with jeans or a long skirt.

Give it to the fan who read the novels or the manga before the anime, for a birthday or the holidays.
