Melmetal Attack Pokemon Versatile Shorts

Heavy metal, bright colors. The Melmetal Attack Pokemon Versatile Shorts mix a golden yellow body with gray and black diagonal slashes, and Melmetal appears in a charging pose with a burst of red and orange flame at its feet. Vertical katakana spells its name down the upper leg, and the back is yellow with bold black slashes.

Meet Melmetal

Melmetal is the Hex Nut Pokemon, a Steel type that evolves from Meltan when it is fed enough in the Pokemon GO games. Legends say it was built from a collection of nuts and bolts, and it can use its giant arms to create huge hammer blows. It is a rare and powerful monster, and fans enjoy its blocky look and thick, heavy fists.

What Stands Out

The fiery yellow and the cold gray give the design a strong contrast between heat and steel.

• Charging pose: the Pokemon is shown mid attack with sparks and flames around it.
• Gray and black slashes: they give the shorts a speedy comic look.
• Katakana name: a vertical line of text on the front of the leg.
• Everyday comfort: side pockets and an elastic waistband.

Where to Wear Them

Take them to the weight room, a boxing class, a Pokemon GO community day or a casual afternoon with friends. They stand out nicely when paired with a black tee.

They are a great present for a fan who likes powerful Steel types, whether for a birthday or a holiday exchange. Anyone who has worked on a Meltan collection will appreciate them.
