About Monica and Dawn Fall

Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall is a 2022 anime that returns to the dark, emotional world of the long running Black Rock Shooter franchise, where inner struggles take the form of stylized fights. Monica Kaburagi is one of the characters fans connect with the most, and the shadowy palette on this kimono matches the somber, cinematic tone of the series.

Design Details

• Striped lapels: the green striping frames the open front and gives the black fabric a subtle second color.
• Solid back: a plain black back keeps the silhouette clean, so the front panels do the talking.
• Wide haori sleeves: they hang loose past the elbow and swing nicely when you walk.
• Tie belt: cinch it tight for a defined waist or knot it loosely for a relaxed drape.

Styling Ideas

Because it is mostly black, it pairs with almost anything. Try a gray tee and slim dark jeans for a night out, or layer it over a hoodie at a late screening of your favorite anime. Cosplayers can also use it as the outer layer of a dark, gothic inspired outfit.
