Monokuma Danganronpa Happi Coat Haori Kimono

Show your love for Hope’s Peak Academy’s worst headmaster with the Monokuma Danganronpa Happi Coat Haori Kimono. The kimono is split straight down the middle, one half crisp white and the other deep black, with a bright red belt at the waist and a small red cracked eye mark on the chest.

Who Is Monokuma?

Monokuma is the robotic bear who runs the deadly school game in Danganronpa. One side of his face is a smiling white bear and the other is a menacing black grin with a glowing red eye. He is cheerful, sarcastic and cruel all at once, and his cackling announcements are among the most quoted moments in the franchise. The two tone design on this piece is a direct nod to that famous face.

Look Closer

• Half and half body: the white and black sides meet at the center line, just like the bear.
• Bear on the back: a large Monokuma face covers the black side of the back panel, so people behind you get the joke too.
• Red belt: the bold red matches his eye and breaks up the black and white.
• Light haori sleeves: wide openings make it easy to throw over a tee.

Wear It Like This

Wear it open at a convention with a black tee, or tie the belt and pair it with white sneakers for a high contrast street outfit. It also works well for trial themed photo shoots with your friends.

Gift it to the visual novel fan who still says “Upupupu” at inappropriate moments. It makes a great birthday present or a funny Secret Santa pick.
