Mr. Squidward Tentacles SpongeBob SquarePants Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Play it with a sigh in the Mr. Squidward Tentacles SpongeBob SquarePants Mid Top Basketball Shoes. A turquoise upper meets a purple toe and heel, a sticky lime green stripe pattern runs over the side, and Squidward plays his clarinet with his usual unimpressed face.

About Squidward Tentacles

Squidward is the cranky cashier at the Krusty Krab who just wants quiet and a chance to be an artist. He plays clarinet, paints self portraits and lives between two noisy neighbors, SpongeBob and Patrick. His dry jokes and daily misery are a big part of why generations of viewers love Bikini Bottom.

Why They Are Fun

• Turquoise and purple: a bright mix of colors that fits the cartoon’s undersea palette.
• Green striped panel: a bold pattern gives the shoe a retro cartoon energy.
• Clarinet art: Squidward is shown with his instrument, mid performance.
• Mid top shape: a padded top edge, a lace up front and a cushioned base that handles long shifts and longer walks.

Style and Occasions

Wear them with denim, black pants or a simple gray hoodie so the colors do the work. They are great for a cartoon marathon, a beach trip, a school music class or a day when you just do not feel like talking.

The loud palette makes them an easy way to add humor to any outfit.

A sunny day at the beach or a quiet moment in your own living room both suit these shoes, and the stripes also pair well with a plain white or gray tee.

They are a funny gift for the friend who always sighs at the world. Give them for a birthday, a Secret Santa or a Christmas surprise, and maybe tuck in a pair of earplugs.
