Original Starters Pokemon Knitted Cardigan Sweater

Meet the very first partners of the Kanto region in the Original Starters Pokemon Knitted Cardigan Sweater. A black and white line art collage of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle fills the whole cardigan, and one small full color Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur trio sits on the left chest like a pin.

The Kanto Starters

Every trainer in Pallet Town once had to pick one: Bulbasaur the grass seed, Charmander the fire lizard or Squirtle the water turtle. Charmander evolves into Charizard, Squirtle into Blastoise, and Bulbasaur into Venusaur, and arguing over which choice was best has never gone out of style among fans of the original games and anime.

What Makes the Design Fun

• Sketchbook look: the monochrome drawings feel like pages from a trainer’s notebook.
• Color pop on the chest: the tiny colored trio is the only splash of hue, so it draws the eye.
• Same pattern on the back: the crowd of starters wraps around the sleeves and back.
• Neutral base: black, white and gray match nearly every outfit in your closet.

Ways to Wear It

Throw it over a white tee for class, wear it to a trading card meetup, or layer it under a coat for a gaming night. The button front makes it simple to take on and off when a room gets warm.

It is a sweet gift for the friend who still remembers which starter they chose first. Wrap it for a birthday, a graduation or a holiday swap, and watch them point out their favorite right away.
