Phantom Troupe Kanji Hunter x Hunter Knitted Cardigan Sweater

Keep your spider pride quiet and sharp with the Phantom Troupe Kanji Hunter x Hunter Knitted Cardigan Sweater. The black cardigan has a purple placket and cuffs, with vertical purple kanji characters on the left chest. A large purple spider outline spreads across the back.

About the Phantom Troupe

This band of thieves, called the Spiders, is the biggest threat to the Hunters in the series. Their leader Chrollo Lucilfer steals abilities with a book, and each member bears a spider mark with a number. Fans cheer for their teamwork even when they know the group is dangerous.

The group’s Japanese name, Genei Ryodan, is written on the chest in the characters you see on the placket. Seen from the front, it looks like a simple dark cardigan, but anyone who knows the series will smile when they spot the vertical lettering. The back then adds the spider that Chrollo’s gang is known for, drawn as a clean purple outline with long curved legs.

Design Highlights

• Kanji on the chest: the vertical text gives it a stealthy, understated look.
• Big spider on the back: the purple outline stands out against solid black.
• Purple accents: collar, buttons band, cuffs and hem add contrast.
• Dark base: it works for any season and goes with nearly everything.

When It Works

Wear it to class, a convention afterparty or a late movie night. It is subtle enough for daily wear but easy for other fans to recognize when you walk by.

It is a smart gift for the Hunter x Hunter fan who likes subtle references more than loud prints. Give it for a birthday, a graduation or a Christmas present they will wear every week.
