About Retsu Unohana

Retsu Unohana is the captain of the 4th Division in Bleach, the unit that heals the wounded of the Gotei 13. She is gentle, gracious and always smiling, but behind the warm manner is one of the oldest and most dangerous fighters in the Soul Society. Her history as the first Kenpachi reveals a darker side that surprised many fans and made her fight with Kenpachi Zaraki one of the series’ most memorable scenes.
