Ryuk Death Note Versatile Shorts

The Shinigami is watching on the Ryuk Death Note Versatile Shorts. A black body carries a large white ink style illustration of Ryuk’s face, with one glowing red eye, wild spiky hair and a wide grin on the upper thigh, while a vertical line of katakana spelling Death Note runs down the front.

About Ryuk

Ryuk is a bored Shinigami, or death god, who drops his Death Note into the human world in Death Note. He follows the student Light Yagami and enjoys watching the chaos that follows, mostly because it keeps him entertained and supplied with apples. His laugh, his tall black wings and his refusal to take sides have made him one of the most memorable characters in anime.

Design Highlights

• Ink style portrait: sharp white lines on black capture the spiky look of the original art.
• Red eye accent: a single burst of red draws attention.
• Katakana title: a clean column of white characters spells the series name.
• Practical details: pockets at the sides and a snug elastic waist.

Where to Wear Them

The portrait sits near the hem, so it looks as if Ryuk is peeking over your shoulder as you walk.

They are good for a Halloween party, a convention, a night run or a casual hangout. A black tee makes a dark, simple outfit, and a red apple pin is a fun extra for fans who know the joke.

They make a witty gift for a Death Note fan, a good fit for a birthday, a holiday exchange or a thriller marathon night.
