SpongeBob SquarePants Face 2-in-1 Performance Shorts

Grin like you just got your boating license in the SpongeBob SquarePants Face 2-in-1 Performance Shorts. The outer short is bright sponge yellow with pores all over and a huge smiling SpongeBob face on the leg, and the liner shows the white shirt and brown pants with a black belt around the hem.

Why SpongeBob Still Works

SpongeBob SquarePants is the endlessly optimistic sea sponge created by Stephen Hillenburg. His job as a fry cook, his love of jellyfishing and his boating school struggles gave the show a stream of classic episodes. His wide smile and big laugh capture the spirit of the series, which is about friendship, silly fun and never losing your cheer. Even the sad or scary episodes end with a laugh, which is why parents and kids still watch together.

Details to Love

• Big smile: a close up of SpongeBob’s wide eyed face covers the outer leg.
• Sponge texture: small round holes in darker yellow give the shell that bath time look.
• Costume liner: a white and brown band at the hem recalls his work clothes.
• Drawstring waist: elastic with cords for a good fit.

Where to Wear Them

They work for cardio, a pool session, a day at the beach or a lazy weekend with cartoons. A white tee and sandals make an easy summer outfit, and the yellow shell is hard to lose track of in a crowded pool deck or a beach game.

A bright gift for a fan who always cheers up a room. Give them for a birthday, a holiday or a graduation, and perhaps add a Krabby Patty plush for the full gag.
