Squirtle Pattern Pokemon Hockey Jersey

The Squirtle Pattern Pokemon Hockey Jersey covers you in tiny turtles. Dozens of small Squirtle drawings and red and white Poke Balls tumble across a pale butter yellow body, while aqua blue sleeve cuffs, collar trim and shoulder stripes frame the whole thing. The pattern continues all the way around the back, so there is no plain spot anywhere.

The Water Starter

Squirtle is the Water type starter from the Kanto region and the Pokemon that evolves into Wartortle and finally Blastoise with its shell mounted cannons. Many trainers pick it because it is sturdy, calm under pressure and easy to raise. Squirtle also has a famous gang in the anime, the Squirtle Squad, who wore sunglasses and caused trouble before joining the Fire Brigade.

Design Notes

• Repeat print: Squirtle in several poses, from smiling to hiding in its shell, mixed with Poke Balls for a playful scatter.
• Color pairing: soft yellow and teal blue feel fresh and a little retro.
• Contrast cuffs: the blue forearms with a white stripe break up the busy print.
• Hockey jersey fit: A V neck and long sleeves frame the busy print, and the body hangs loose enough for a tee underneath.

Wear It Like This

Because the print is light and cheerful, it works for pool parties, spring picnics, school spirit days and weekend errands. Pair it with plain black joggers or denim so the artwork can do the talking.

Gift Notes

It suits kids at heart, Pokemon card collectors and anyone who loves the cute side of the franchise. Add it to a birthday or Christmas bundle with a plush Squirtle for a gift that gets a big smile.
