STARS Resident Evil Button Up Hawaiian Shirt

Report for duty in the STARS Resident Evil Button Up Hawaiian Shirt. A deep navy body carries a small round badge at the left chest, and the back is covered by a large circular emblem with gold stars and the words S.T.A.R.S. and Raccoon Police around the edge.

About S.T.A.R.S.

In the Resident Evil series, S.T.A.R.S. stands for Special Tactics And Rescue Service, an elite unit inside the Raccoon City police department. Its members include Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker and Barry Burton, and the story begins when the Alpha and Bravo teams investigate strange attacks on the edge of town. They end up trapped in a spooky mansion full of puzzles and monsters, which kicked off one of the most famous horror game franchises ever made.

What Makes It Work

• Back emblem: the large round badge looks like the patch on a field jacket, and it is the first thing people see when you walk away.
• Chest badge: a small matching crest on the front keeps the look tidy and subtle.
• Navy color: a deep blue that suggests a police uniform, with no loud pattern to compete with the badge.
• Roomy build: an open collar and short sleeves that leave space for layering over a tee.

When to Wear It

It is a smart pick for a horror movie marathon, a game release party or a Halloween night where you want an easy costume. Add a pair of dark jeans and boots and you look ready to search the mansion.

It makes a great gift for a survival horror fan, a gamer who has finished every remake or a friend who still remembers the voice acting. Birthdays and Secret Santa swaps are good times to give it.
