Tech Priest Knitted Cardigan Sweater

Praise the machine in the Tech Priest Knitted Cardigan Sweater. A deep crimson body carries a white placket with black buttons, a black laced waist band that looks like a ritual belt, and on the back a huge white cog framing a skull. The strong red and white contrast gives it the look of a robed engineer from a distant future.

About the Tech Priests

Tech priests are the red robed engineers of a grim science fiction universe who worship machines as holy objects. They replace parts of their bodies with metal, speak in binary chants and maintain ancient war engines for a distant empire. Their cog and skull symbol stands for knowledge, ritual and the fusion of flesh and technology. Fans of the setting love how odd and haunting these characters feel, and many hobby painters give their miniatures deep red cloaks.

The color pairing on this cardigan is a familiar sight at tabletop game nights.

Design Highlights

• Cog and skull emblem: a big white symbol fills the back and reads clearly from far away.
• Robe red color: a rich crimson tone looks dramatic and a little mysterious.
• Laced black band: a dark waist piece gives the front a ceremonial feel.
• White placket: a bright center line sharpens the whole design.

Where to Wear It

Wear it to a hobby store, a painting night, a convention or a cozy evening of board games. Black pants and boots echo the robed engineer style.

It is a clever surprise for the friend with a painted army and a love of lore. Offer it as a birthday treat, a Christmas gift or a thank you to the person who hosts every game session.
