About Turbo Granny

Turbo Granny is a high speed yokai from Dandadan, an urban legend who chases motorbikes and cars at impossible speeds. She is based on the Japanese tale of a ghostly granny who races down the road and can even cling to the side of a car. In the story she becomes one of Okarun’s allies, giving him her power and curse. Fans love Dandadan for its crazy mix of aliens, ghosts and teenage romance.

Style Ideas

Black jeans and a dark hoodie let the red and yellow stand out. These are great for Halloween, anime nights, late drives and horror movie marathons.

They make a wild present for a Dandadan fan, a monster lover or a friend who enjoys offbeat anime. Give them for a birthday, a Secret Santa or a holiday party where strange is a good thing. The red and black pairing also suits fall weather and spooky season.
