Donkey Kong Classics 2-in-1 Performance Shorts

It is on like Donkey Kong with the Donkey Kong Classics 2-in-1 Performance Shorts. The chocolate brown outer short carries the bold red and yellow DK letters on the right leg, and the black liner underneath is filled with pixel style game scenes, barrels, flames and tiny retro characters.

About Donkey Kong

Donkey Kong started as the barrel throwing ape of the 1981 arcade game, where a carpenter later known as Mario climbed ladders to rescue a damsel. He returned in the Country series with Diddy Kong, banana hoards and mine cart rides. Today he is a power player in kart racing and brawling games, and the DK initials remain one of the most famous logos in gaming history.

Why Gamers Like Them

• DK letters: red lettering with a yellow shadow pops off the brown background.
• Retro game liner: little arcade scenes stretch around the compression layer like a classic cabinet screen.
• Earthy outer color: a deep brown inspired by the ape’s fur gives the shorts a rugged feel.
• Stable fit: the inner layer keeps everything in place while the outer short gives airflow.

Level Up Your Day

Take them to the gym, a trail run or a retro game night. They are also the right pair for a barbecue, where a little barrel humor is always welcome.

A good present for a gamer who owns an old console, a dad who played the arcade original or a cousin who still argues about the best Kong Country level. If you spot a fellow gamer at the gym, expect a knowing nod and maybe a challenge to a round of the arcade classic.
