About Gambit

Remy LeBeau, known as Gambit, is a Cajun thief from New Orleans who joined the X-Men. He can charge any object with kinetic energy, and his favorite tool is a deck of playing cards that explode on impact. He also fights with a bo staff. Fans know him for his charm, his trench coat and his complicated romance with Rogue.

Why They Work

• Glowing card: the pink spade ace shines on the earthy brown color.
• Coat inspired color: brown and blue echo his trench coat and trim.
• Pink energy lines: bright slashes on the liner suggest charged cards flying.
• Snug underlayer: offers compression and keeps the legs steady.

When to Wear Them

Suit up for cardio, volleyball or a casual poker night. A plain tan tee and a long coat make an easy convention outfit.

They make a good present for an X-Men fan who loves a charming rogue, or a lucky charm for a friend who never leaves home without a deck of cards. Wear a white tee and a pair of red sneakers to echo the card suits, and let the pink glow of the spade decide the rest of the outfit. A pair of fingerless gloves will complete the theme if you like a bit of costume.
