About Gambit

Remy LeBeau, known as Gambit, is a Cajun thief turned X-Men member from New Orleans. His mutant power is to charge objects with kinetic energy, and he is best known for throwing playing cards that explode on impact. He fights with a bo staff, flirts with a smile and wears a long trench coat, and his on again, off again romance with Rogue is a fan favorite storyline in the X-Men comics and the animated series.

Design Highlights

• Pink energy burst: the glow around the card is the pop of color that anchors the whole design.
• Trench coat tones: brown overlays nod to his long coat, while blue gives the pair a cool contrast.
• Court silhouette: mid top collar with padding, lace up front and a chunky white outsole.

Ways to Wear Them

Wear them with dark jeans and a leather style jacket for a Cajun rogue vibe. They also suit poker nights, comic conventions, Mardi Gras parties and pickup games.

Fans of the 1990s animated series will recognize the playful pose and the wide grin, and the cards in the artwork make a fun detail for anyone who enjoys a good poker night.

Gift them to the X-Men fan who loves the animated series, whether it is for a birthday, a Christmas present or a Secret Santa with a lucky twist.
