Description
Dream in purple with the Gengar I’m Dreaming of a Purple Christmas Pokemon Ugly Christmas Sweater. A deep purple sweater shows a huge grinning Gengar with red eyes across the upper chest, above the words I’M DREAMING OF A PURPLE CHRISTMAS in bright white and violet letters. The name GENGAR repeats down the sleeves, and snowflakes, Poke Balls and lighter lavender bands trim the body.
About Gengar
Gengar is the Ghost and Poison type Pokemon that evolves from Haunter, and it is known for its wide grin, its spiky shadowy body and its love of pranks. According to the Pokedex, it hides in the dark and steals the warmth of people nearby. In battle it has a huge fan following for moves like Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb, and it has appeared in the anime many times as a cheeky troublemaker.
Design Highlights
- Giant Gengar: the character’s face fills the chest with a wide, mischievous smile.
- Carol twist: a pun on a famous holiday song swaps white for purple.
- Name on the sleeves: large lettering wraps down each arm for a bold effect.
- Purple palette: shades of violet, lavender and white create a spooky but festive look.
Where to Wear It
This crew neck pullover is great for a Halloween-meets-Christmas party, a Pokemon tournament, a sleepover or a cozy night in. Black jeans and dark sneakers go well with the purples.
It is a spooky gift for the Gengar fan in your life, and a fun Christmas surprise for anyone who loves ghost types.
