Godzilla Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Hear the roar in the Godzilla Mid Top Basketball Shoes. A black upper with a scaly texture is split by glowing cyan blue lines that look like the monster’s dorsal spikes and atomic breath, and a jagged crack pattern climbs the side panel.

About Godzilla

Godzilla is the giant monster that first rose from the sea in the 1954 Japanese film, and it has stomped through dozens of movies since. It stands for the power and the danger of nature and the atomic age, and its blue atomic breath is the signature move. Over the decades it has fought rivals like Mothra, King Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla, and it has become one of the best known monsters in the world.

Design Highlights

• Glowing spikes: cyan lines run up the shoe like dorsal fins charging for a blast.
• Scaly black base: a dark textured surface looks like thick reptile skin.
• Court shape: mid top collar with padding, lace up front and a sturdy white sole.

Where to Wear Them

Dark clothing makes the blue glow stand out, so black jeans and a gray hoodie work well. Wear them to movie premieres, comic shops, basketball or a weekend monster marathon.

Add a dark tee and you are ready for a night at the cinema where a certain monster finally shows up on screen. The artwork is clean and moody, so the pair feels cool rather than childish and works for teens and adults alike.

They make a roaring gift for the kaiju fan, whether for a birthday, a Christmas stocking or a Secret Santa swap.
