Green Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono

In brightest day, in blackest night, wear the Green Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono. Rich green and black panels wrap the body and sleeves, a green lantern emblem sits on the chest and on each sleeve, and a green tie belt sets off the dark lower half. The back panel keeps the color blocks clean and simple.

About the Green Lantern Corps

The Green Lantern Corps is an intergalactic police force from the DC universe. Its members carry power rings that turn willpower into solid light, letting them create anything they can imagine. Every Lantern recites an oath before charging the ring from a glowing lantern, and fans of the comics, cartoons and movies know that green is the color of willpower. The simple uniform design is a classic of superhero history, and the black lower half gives this kimono a nice nighttime contrast.

Design Highlights

• Three emblems: one on the chest and one on each sleeve for a balanced look.
• Green and black blocks: sharp shapes that echo the uniform of a Lantern.
• Green belt: a bright sash that cuts across the dark lower half.

Where to Wear It

This kimono is a great fit for comic book shops, movie nights and comic conventions. Try it over a black tee with dark jeans for an easy superhero outfit, or wear it at a Halloween party as a costume shortcut.

It makes a good gift for a superhero fan, whether it is for a birthday, Christmas or Father’s Day. Anyone who has ever recited the oath will understand.
