Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Launch from the hangar in the Gundam Mobile Suit Gundam Mid Top Basketball Shoes. White armor plates pair with royal blue, red and yellow panels, and crisp manga style line art covers the surface like blueprint pages for a giant robot.

About Mobile Suit Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam is the 1979 anime that started the real robot genre. It follows Amuro Ray, a teenager who ends up piloting the experimental Gundam during a war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. His rival Char Aznable, the Red Comet, pilots a rival suit, and their story explores war, growing up and the weight of power. The tri color design of the Gundam, blue, red, yellow and white, is one of the most recognized in anime.

Shoe Highlights

• Tri color scheme: blue, red and yellow panels copy the classic suit colors.
• Line art mechanics: detailed drawings of armor plates and joints give the pair a model kit feel.
• Daily comfort: a cushioned cuff, tidy laces and a clean white sole.

When to Wear Them

These match white tees, navy pants and gray hoodies. Wear them to model hobby shows, conventions, class or a weekend building plastic kits.

The bright pieces of color stand out against neutral outfits, which makes the pair a great start for a robot themed look.

Fans of the Universal Century timeline will also enjoy how the line art feels like a page from an old model kit manual. They are a smart gift for the modeler who has a shelf full of mobile suits, for a birthday, graduation or Christmas.
