About Leonardo and the Turtles

Leonardo wears blue and carries twin katanas as the leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is disciplined, responsible and often the voice of reason, and he looks up to his teacher Splinter. The four brothers fight the Foot Clan and their enemy Shredder, and the heroes’ love of pizza and teamwork has made them a pop culture classic. He also says that a good leader listens first, and fans love him for that thoughtful streak.

Costume Details

• Plastron print: a shaded belly shell on the front gives a funny turtle body effect.
• Crossed straps: blue harness lines hold the swords in the cartoon.
• Shell back: segmented plates cover the back for a full costume feel.
• Wristbands: blue bands at each cuff match the mask color.

Where to Wear It

This is a no fuss Halloween costume, and it also suits a convention, a pizza party or a cartoon marathon. Add a blue mask and green pants for a full look. It also suits a family group costume, with each person in a different color.
