Lupin the 3rd Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Steal the spotlight in the Lupin the 3rd Mid Top Basketball Shoes. Crimson leather-look panels and black overlays surround a comic style portrait of the gentleman thief in his famous red jacket, with gray burst lines and sharp black slashes that give the pair a heist-night energy.

Who Is Lupin the Third?

Lupin III is the grandson of the legendary Arsene Lupin, a charming master thief who lives for the perfect score. With his partners Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko, he pulls off impossible heists, often while being chased by the stubborn Inspector Zenigata. The series has been a classic since the late 1960s.

Design Notes

• Red jacket color: the deep red upper nods to his most famous outfit.
• Action lines: gray and white bursts add a vintage comic feel to the side panel.
• High top fit: lace up front, padded collar and a white rubber sole.

Outfit Ideas and Moments

Try them with black jeans and a leather jacket for a night out, or with a gray crewneck for school. They are a good fit for retro anime nights, a trip to the arcade, a jazz bar or a friends gathering where a classic caper film is on the screen.

The black slashes crossing the red also hint at Goemon’s blade cuts, a small wink for fans who remember the sword work from the series and the movies like The Castle of Cagliostro.

They suit the fan who loves old school anime and the style that came with it. Wrap a pair for a birthday, a Christmas stocking or a thank you to a friend who introduced you to the series.
