Monokuma Danganronpa Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Upupupu, the Monokuma Danganronpa Mid Top Basketball Shoes are ready for despair. Stark black and white panels are split down the middle like the bear’s own face, with a glowing red eye, a wide jagged grin and thin white outlines that look like sketched cracks across the dark upper.

About Monokuma

Monokuma is the half black, half white robot bear who runs the killing game in Danganronpa. He claims to be the principal of Hope’s Peak Academy and delights in tormenting the students with rules and motives. Fans love to hate him, thanks to his chirpy voice, his dark humor and his unforgettable design.

Shoe Highlights

• Split color design: a monochrome pattern mirrors the two halves of his face.
• Red eye accent: one small glowing spot gives the pair a sinister look.
• Line art texture: white outlines give the black panels a comic book feel.
• High top comfort: padded collar and lace up front.

Where to Wear Them

Black and white goes with everything, so wear them with jeans, a school uniform or a plain tee. They suit a visual novel meetup, a convention, a cosplay of a Hope’s Peak student or an ordinary day at college.

The bold two tone design is a conversation starter among fans of mystery games.

Fans of the series might also enjoy how the cracked line work looks like a hand drawn panel from the games, and it keeps the shoes interesting up close.

For the player who finished every trial and still jokes about the bear, they make a fun birthday or Christmas gift. Add a stuffed bear for a bundle of dark humor.
