My Neighbor Totoro Studio Ghibli Versatile Shorts

Peek out from the hem with the My Neighbor Totoro Studio Ghibli Versatile Shorts. The soft gray body is quiet and simple, while the bottom of each leg shows Totoro’s smiling face, whiskers and pale cream belly with its tiny chevron markings, as if he is standing behind your knee.

Why We Love Totoro

Totoro is the round, fluffy guardian of the forest from My Neighbor Totoro, and he has a big grin that makes everyone feel at ease. He lives in a giant tree, shares acorns with Mei and helps the sisters grow a tree overnight. Many people say the film feels like a warm hug, and these shorts keep a little of that feeling close at all times.

Design Highlights

• Peekaboo layout: the face and belly sit at the hem, so the print looks like Totoro is climbing up the leg.
• Gray base: a calm color that goes with almost any shirt.
• Soft cream belly: chevron marks like the original character give the print charm.
• Everyday build: two side pockets and a stretchy waistband that stays put.

Where to Wear Them

They also work as simple lounge shorts, since the single character keeps the design light.

Wear them to a morning walk, a picnic, a casual workout, a trip to the farmers market or a lazy weekend. A white shirt and canvas sneakers make a relaxed set.

They are a sweet gift for Ghibli fans, perfect for a birthday, a holiday exchange or a thank you for a friend who always rewatches the film.
