About the Queen of Hearts

The Queen of Hearts is the temperamental ruler of Wonderland in Lewis Carroll’s story Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. She hosts croquet games with flamingos as mallets and hedgehogs as balls, and she is famous for her loud temper and her constant demands. The character has appeared in books, films and countless costumes, and her playing card style makes her a favorite for fans of fairy tale villains. Her red and black palette and heart motifs are easy to turn into a costume at Halloween or a themed run.

Design Features

• Split colors: red on one side and black on the other recall the suits of playing cards.
• Heart emblems: one black heart and one red heart sit on opposite legs.
• Chevron liner: yellow and black zigzag stripes add a bold, playful edge.
• Two layers: a breezy outer short, a snug liner and a cord to tighten the waist.

Where to Wear Them

They are a fun pick for dance class, spin sessions, running and costume parties. The split design is a hit at themed events, and a white tee keeps the focus on the hearts.

They make a whimsical gift for a Wonderland fan or a card game lover. Give them for a birthday, a tea party, a Halloween costume or a Christmas present for someone who loves bold fairy tale style.
