About Samurai Sentai Shinkenger

Shinkenger is the Super Sentai series from 2009 in which five warriors of an old samurai house defend the world from the Gedoushu, creatures that emerge from the Sanzu River. Their leader, Shinken Red, is a lord who is learning to protect his retainers as well as his people. Fans love the show for its bold Japanese design, its sword fights and its mixture of old tradition and modern action.

What Makes It Stand Out

• Calligraphy chest print: brush style red characters echo the series title.
• Lightning sleeves: bold bolts and flame shapes run down each arm.
• Group back art: heroes in their colors stand together like a clan portrait.
• Easy neutral base: a gray body that suits any pair of jeans.

Where to Wear It

Wear it to a toku event, a martial arts class or a chilly walk home from work. Dark pants and simple sneakers keep the red art in the spotlight, and the roomy hood adds warmth on windy days.

It is a good present for the Sentai fan who loves samurai style. Birthdays, Christmas and graduation days all make fine occasions to give it. Add a toy sword keychain and the gift feels like a proper tribute to the warrior clan.
