Sonic the Hedgehog Happi Coat Haori Kimono

Gotta go fast in the Sonic the Hedgehog Happi Coat Haori Kimono. A bright blue body is covered in a subtle line pattern, a big golden ring sits on the left chest, and a white belt and white lapel stripe frame the open front. The back repeats the blue lined pattern with a small gold ring and a white center panel.

About Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic is the blue hedgehog mascot of Sega, first introduced in 1991 on the Genesis console. He runs at supersonic speed through zones like Green Hill, collects golden rings and spins into a ball to defeat Dr. Eggman’s robots. His friends Tails, Knuckles and Amy join him in games, shows and movies, and his cocky grin and love of chili dogs have made him a pop culture icon for decades.

Design Highlights

• Gold ring: a large ring on the chest is the classic symbol of the series.
• Lined blue texture: a subtle pattern gives the blue fabric a sense of motion.
• White accents: a clean lapel stripe and belt contrast with the blue.
• Loose haori cut: wide sleeves and an open front.

Where to Wear It

It is a great fit for game conventions, movie nights and weekend outings. Pair it with white sneakers and a red accessory for a quick Sonic inspired outfit. The blue and white palette also looks fresh for summer, and the gold ring catches the sun.

It is a fun gift for a gamer who grew up with the Genesis. Choose it for a birthday, a graduation or a holiday present for a friend who still remembers the first time they heard the Green Hill Zone theme.
