STARS Resident Evil Knitted Cardigan Sweater

Report for duty in the STARS Resident Evil Knitted Cardigan Sweater. A deep royal blue cardigan with navy trim carries a small police badge on the left chest, and the back features a large round emblem with the letters S.T.A.R.S. above three yellow stars and the words Raccoon Police Dep.

About S.T.A.R.S.

S.T.A.R.S. stands for Special Tactics and Rescue Service, the elite unit of the Raccoon City Police Department in the Resident Evil games. Its members include Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Barry Burton and Albert Wesker. The team is sent to investigate strange attacks near the city and ends up exploring the Spencer Mansion, which is where the horror series began in 1996.

Fans love the badge because it reminds them of the classic survival horror feeling, with limited ammo and a lot of locked doors.

Design Highlights

• Police blue: a clean uniform shade that is easy to wear.
• Round back emblem: yellow stars and white lettering make the badge easy to read.
• Tiny chest patch: the front stays discreet and simple.
• Dark ribbing: navy cuffs, hem and button band add a sharp finish.

The deep blue is also a great pick for a fall evening, and it layers well under a dark jacket.

Where to Wear It

Wear it for a horror game marathon, a convention, a Halloween group costume or a casual day in cool weather. Cargo pants and boots complete the squad look.

It is a good gift for a survival horror player. Give it for a birthday, a Christmas exchange or a new game release party.
