Steel Type Heavy Metal Pokemon Ugly Christmas Sweater

Rock out this December in the Steel Type Heavy Metal Pokemon Ugly Christmas Sweater. A black and charcoal sweater shows steel-type Pokemon playing instruments on a stage, under the words HEAVY METAL CHRISTMAS and above NO SILENT NIGHTS. Small Poke Balls, music notes and chain-link patterns decorate the borders, and silver bands finish the cuffs and hem.

About Steel-Type Pokemon

Steel-type Pokemon like Steelix, Lucario, Metagross, Aggron and Scizor are tough, durable and very hard to hurt. They are strong against Ice, Rock and Fairy types, and weak to Fire, Fighting and Ground moves. A band of steel types is a funny idea, since their bodies already look like drum kits and guitars, and the pun on the word metal makes the joke land. Steelix is the star of the stage with its long iron body, and Lucario would make a fine lead guitarist.

Design Highlights

• Band scene: metallic Pokemon rock out with guitars, drums and a mic stand.
• Metal pun: a wordplay that combines rock music, steel types and a classic carol.
• Dark palette: black, charcoal and silver feel like a concert poster.
• Chain trim: chain-link patterns and notes run along the borders.

Where to Wear It

This crew neck pullover is good for a concert, a holiday jam session, a Pokemon night or an ugly sweater contest. Black jeans and boots complete the rocker look.

It is a loud gift for a metal fan who loves Pokemon, and a clever Secret Santa pick for a guitarist friend.
