The Thing Fantastic Four Marvel 2-in-1 Performance Shorts

It is clobberin time in the The Thing Fantastic Four Marvel 2-in-1 Performance Shorts. The blue outer short has the white number four in a circle on the leg, and the orange liner underneath is printed with craggy rock plates just like Ben Grimm’s skin.

About The Thing

Ben Grimm, known as The Thing, is the rocky strongman of the Fantastic Four. After a cosmic ray accident, he changed into an orange rocky form with huge strength, and he often struggles with life in that body. His catchphrase it’s clobberin time, his friendship with Reed Richards and his gruff humor have made him a classic Marvel favorite since 1961. He is also known for his love of his wife Alicia and for his friendship with Johnny Storm, which gives the character real warmth under all that rock. The Fantastic Four are often called Marvel’s first family.

Design Highlights

• Four emblem: a white circle with the number four sits on the blue outer short.
• Rock liner: orange boulder shaped plates cover the fitted inner layer.
• Team colors: blue and orange recall the team’s costumes.
• Waist fit: a white waistband with drawstring cords.

Where to Wear Them

Take them to heavy lifting days, boxing class, rock climbing or a cookout. A white tee and plain sneakers give a clean look. The orange liner is a fun surprise that peeks out when you squat or lunge, and the blue shell is easy to match.

A strong gift for a Fantastic Four fan or a friend who always carries the heavy boxes. Give them for a birthday, a holiday or a move in day.
