Xylo Forbartz Sentenced to Be a Hero Streetwear T-Shirt

Hold the line in the Xylo Forbartz Sentenced to Be a Hero Streetwear T-Shirt. This black tee has a coral red ringer collar and a tall front collage of Xylo in red and gold armor tones, with big stacked block letters, Japanese text on the right and a row of small portraits on the left. A white and red Japanese title sits on the back.

About the Series

Sentenced to Be a Hero is a dark fantasy anime in which criminals are punished by being forced to serve as heroes. They fight on the front line against terrible monsters, and dying only sends them back into the fight, which turns heroism into a brutal sentence. Xylo Forbartz is a hardened member of that unit, and his stern look and tragic past fit the series’ gloomy, gritty tone.

Design Highlights

• Armor toned front: red and gold artwork looks battle worn and bold.
• Row of portraits: small faces on the left suggest the rest of the squad.
• Red neckband: a bright collar against the black body.
• White title back print: a clean line of Japanese text finishes the back.

Where to Wear It

It suits dark fantasy fans at a marathon night, a convention or a casual weekend out. Layer a black jacket and boots for a moody look, or wear it plain with dark jeans for a night out where the red collar does the talking. The art rewards a second look, since the small portraits only reveal themselves up close.

Give it to a friend who loves tragic heroes, for a birthday, a Christmas surprise or a Secret Santa that shows you know their taste.
