RX-78 Mobile Suit Gundam Hockey Jersey

Launch from the hangar in the RX-78 Mobile Suit Gundam Hockey Jersey. The print turns the jersey into a mobile suit torso: a blue chest and shoulder section with a yellow V fin collar, a red midsection with a vertical blue panel, a yellow waist with a V mark and white sleeves with gray detailing. The back shows the backpack and thrusters.

The Legendary RX-78

The RX-78-2 Gundam is the white, blue and red robot piloted by Amuro Ray in Mobile Suit Gundam, the 1979 anime that started the real robot genre. Its beam rifle, shield and beam sabers helped the Earth Federation fight the forces of Zeon. For many fans it is the most important robot design in anime history.

What We Like About It

• Armor style print: shaded panels and tiny stencils give the torso a model kit look.
• Color accuracy: the classic blue, red, yellow and white colors match the original paint scheme.
• Rear thruster pack: the back shows the large gray backpack with round exhaust ports.
• White arms: clean white sleeves keep the outfit balanced and easy to layer.

Ways to Wear It

This is a great pick for model building meetups, a Gundam marathon, a convention or a casual day at a hobby shop. It also makes a quick pilot cosplay when paired with a red scarf and jeans.

Gift Notes

It is a natural gift for a plastic model builder or a longtime mecha fan, for a birthday, a holiday present or a milestone in their kit collection.
