Yellow Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono

Face your fear in style with the Yellow Lantern Happi Coat Haori Kimono. A bright yellow and black coat carries a Lantern symbol on the chest and one on the sleeve, black panels shape the shoulders and waist and a yellow belt closes the front.

About the Yellow Lantern

In the Green Lantern comics, yellow is the color of fear. The Sinestro Corps uses yellow rings powered by the terror of their enemies, and its founder Sinestro is one of the most famous foes of Hal Jordan. The Corps’ story explores how fear can be both a weapon and a weakness, and it gives the spectrum of Lantern colors a darker edge.

Design Details

• Lantern symbols: round emblems on the chest and sleeve mark the Corps.
• Yellow and black blocking: a sharp, high contrast pairing.
• Angular panels: black sections frame the shoulders and waist.
• Yellow sash: a bright finishing touch.

When to Wear It

It suits comic book nights, themed parties and conventions, and it is easy to spot in a crowd. A black tee and jeans underneath keep the colors punchy, and white sneakers add a clean contrast. The coat also works as a Halloween pick for a Sinestro Corps costume, with a black bodysuit or a simple black shirt as the base.

It is a bold gift for a collector who already owns the green version. Birthdays, Christmas and Father’s Day all work well, and a small yellow ring prop is a witty companion. Fans who like to sort the Corps by emotion will love the idea of adding fear to their closet next to the green and violet versions.
