Howl’s Moving Castle Studio Ghibli Mid Top Basketball Shoes

Float above the clouds in the Howl’s Moving Castle Studio Ghibli Mid Top Basketball Shoes. A bright sky blue upper is filled with fluffy white clouds, and the walking castle is drawn on the side panel with its crooked towers and chimneys trailing smoke.

About Howl’s Moving Castle

In Studio Ghibli’s Howl’s Moving Castle, a young hat maker named Sophie is cursed by a witch and turns into an old woman. She finds shelter in the wandering castle of the wizard Howl, where the fire demon Calcifer keeps the hearth burning. The film mixes a war story with a love story, and the castle itself, built from scraps and walking on metal legs, is one of Hayao Miyazaki’s most memorable inventions.

Design Highlights

• Sky and cloud print: soft white puffs on bright blue give a light, floating feel.
• Castle illustration: the detailed drawing is fun to study up close.
• Everyday fit: a padded collar, lace up front and a clean white sole.

Where to Wear Them

Wear them with light denim, a white tee or a yellow cardigan. They suit picnics, school, trips to the museum and any movie night with Ghibli friends.

The cheerful color feels like a sunny day, so the pair brightens outfits in every season.

They make a lovely gift for a Ghibli fan, for a birthday, a graduation or Christmas, and they pair nicely with a Howl themed poster or mug.

Fans of the soundtrack may even find themselves humming the waltz as they walk.
