About Hajime no Ippo

Hajime no Ippo is the long running boxing manga by George Morikawa, which follows Ippo Makunouchi from bullied student to champion. The story focuses on training, discipline and the friendships forged in the gym, with fights that feel intense and personal. Fans love the rivalries with Miyata and Sendo and the heartfelt lessons about courage and hard work.

Design Highlights

• Gold stars: a row of stars near the waist suggests championship ambition.
• Name label: a small IPPO tag adds a personal touch.
• Maroon panels: dark red and black side stripes echo his fight gear.
• Back kanji: bold brush writing on the rear adds a sense of tradition.

Where to Wear Them

They fit boxing gyms, running tracks and weight rooms. A white tee keeps the look classic, while a maroon tank matches the panels. The roomy cut leaves space for footwork and quick movement, and the bold side panels make the shorts look like real ring gear in photos.

They make a great gift for a Hajime no Ippo fan or a new boxer. Give them for a birthday, Christmas or a graduation, and tell the recipient that every champion started with a single punch. Fans of the blue pair will enjoy owning both colors.
