Ippo Makunouchi Hajime no Ippo 2-in-1 Performance Shorts

Throw the Dempsey Roll in the Ippo Makunouchi Hajime no Ippo 2-in-1 Performance Shorts. A clean white outer short carries the name Makunouchi Ippo in vertical black kanji on the right leg, and the black and white liner below is splashed with ink and a fierce illustration of the boxer in a crouching stance.

About Ippo Makunouchi

Ippo is a shy high school student who is rescued by the boxer Takamura and decides to take up the sport. Under coach Kamogawa, he trains until he becomes a featherweight champion with a signature punch known as the Dempsey Roll. The manga by George Morikawa is considered one of the best sports series ever, and fans love Ippo’s hard work, politeness and tireless heart.

Where to Wear Them

These belong at the boxing gym, the heavy bag and the jump rope corner. They are also a clean choice for a morning run before work.

A strong gift for a boxing fan or a Hajime no Ippo reader, and a perfect birthday pick for the friend who always trains one more round. Add a white tee and wrap your hands in the proper tape for the full gym look, and imagine Kamogawa shouting encouragement from the corner while you finish the final round of drills.
